A question on lcd panels

So, I am buying a new laptop and I still live in the dark ages. (all my displays are still crt). I was happily configuring my new laptop at dell when I noticed that I can choose between different types of display panels. Could someone explain to me the difference between:

WXGA
WSXGA
WUXGA

this is all on an inspirion 6000 which I am not absolutely set on so are there any other display options available that I should know about?

WXGA - 1366 X 768
WSXGA - 1600 X 1024
WUXGA - 1920 X 1200

So its really all a matter of personal preference among those resolutions.
