A question about the 8600s

Do you think the 8600's will play crysis well? to me they look really stacked for thier prices. especially the 8600 ultra. just wondering what you all think about this for a person who wants to play next gen games well but has a modest budget.

im thinking pretty well since interviews said dx10 should increase performance and i dont think the jump from dx9 to dx10 is as big as dx8 to dx9

Well it's on high resolution and not a finished game (although engine is pretty much finished as I have understud) but still crysis in DX 10 needs lot's of GPU power apparently.

Or at least this demo/bench utility does.

Hence in every game You need to know on wich resolution are You going to play and with how much eye candy.


As for 8600 series only time will tell as noone has one. so how would people know how are they going to perform?
