My lexmark z45 just broke and i am wanting to buy another printer. i had problems with it feeding paper. what other printer can i get that isnt such a problem, wont break quickly, and isnt expensive.

Lexmark printers are generally not as reliable as other manufacturers. Gravity fed printers such as the Z45 tend to have more paper pickup problems such as you've experienced. I'd recommend going with an HP. If you are willing to spend the money ($165), the DeskJet 6122 is a great printer. There are plenty of other good HP models, but keep in mind the <$100 models don't have quite as good of build quality. What is your price range?

i personally have the Canon i560 and it is pretty good, and prints good photos too and it is $99

Canons and HPs are excellent printers, just make sure that you buy one with 4 or more ink cartiges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow)

if you don't print color and you want to reduce your dependence on expensive inks, I'd recommend a laser printer. Crisper, smudge-free output, and toner cartridges usually print 6x as many pages as an ink cartridge but only cost 2x as much.
