So I'm gonna be getting a PSU. My Dad recently had his old I think it was an OCZ GameXStream or whatever 550 w. It went dead one night so he bought an Antec PSU right then and there and sent in the dud PSU for replacement. We got it today its a OCZ GameXStream power supply MODEL NO. OCZGXS600.

It's shrink wrapped and everything and I am wondering whether I should buy it from my dad for $30 or go for a PSU that would be $90 but possibly better?

Good deal for only $30, PSU's worth at least twice as much. Excessive ripple at high loads, though, so be careful...wouldn't try anything excessive with it.

$90 could get you a Corsair 550w or 520w, though. :)
