A possible bottleneck?

Hey guys, I have a question regarding a possible bottleneck of my GPU by a CPU.
I have an i3 6100 paired with a Gigabyte H110 MB and 8 Gigs of DDR3 all powered by a SeaSonic S12II-520.

I have waited too long for the dust to settle regarding the new graphics cards from both nVidia and AMD and finally decided that it is time to get myself a new one. Originally I wanted an RX480 8G. However beacues I'd have to wait more and to splash more cash than i intended, I decided to go with RX470 4G or GTX1060 3G.
These are the cards in question, they are available ATM:
- Asus Radeon ROG STRIX-RX470-O4G-GAMING OC Edition
- MSI GeForce GTX1060 GAMING X 3G Graphics Card
At first I was almost sure that I'd get the GTX, however, then I saw this video:

So, if my CPU is a bottleneck for the GTX970, is it going to be the same with 1060 as well? I'd rather not invest more ATM in a core i5 CPU since I'm on a tight budget. Maybe after new year, but not right now.

Hope you can help me since I'd like to order the GPU during the weekend so I can install it on Monday and finally play Deus Ex :D

depends upon the title. in some you'll be as much as 20-30 frames behind even when the i3 has a clock speed advantage, but some games you'll see little to no frame rate drop off. digital foundry videos reveal that the 1060 3gb and 470 are very close to the performance of their full shader brethren, and those full shader cards are similarly close to the performance of the gtx 970. i'd buy the cheapest 1060 or 470 you can afford.

Basically either of the two cards I've listed should yield similar results?

yep all very close in performance. check out all the digital foundry vids on youtube. they even have deus ex vids.
