Problem solved, thanks!

OK, downloaded and installed per the instructions here. But it seems unable to connect to the server. I get the log messages like
"
+ Could not get ID from server. Retrying...

[23:17:04]
"

I'm running behind a Comcast McAfee firewall but appears to allow folding access to the internet. Suggestions?
 
make sure that the folding client is on the safe list of programs to connect to the internet. Try disabling the firewall and if you can then connect...well then the firewall needs to be re-configured
 
In addition to rofty's post, make sure that port 8080 is open, as that's what F@H uses to communicate to the servers. You also might consider using the option for "Use IE Settings" in the config.

Thanks folks, got it running. Think I had misconfigured it on the initial pass. It is folding along now.
