1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Mostly Revit Modeling, AutoCad Modeling and Navisworks model reviews

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
about $2500 to $3000 all in

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
USA near a microcenter
USA a microcenter about an hour away

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
this will be a complete build. Case, PSU, MoBo, CPU, RAM, SSD & GPU. I think I'm all set with monitor, keyboard & mouse.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
All new really

6) Will you be overclocking?
Maybe just a simple overclock during setup but no real playing around with it.

7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1 - 1920 x 1080 - 30" and 2- 24"

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
As soon as we put together a build.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
I've put together a prelim build. Can we start with that?

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Going to need a new OS. win 10 Pro

I saw your post a while ago but I didn't respond because I'm not an expert and I didn't want to throw you off with bad advice but I think your build looks great !
Enjoy it !

Pretty sure everyone is caught up in the amd 3950/60/70 craze right now. Which is likely what most people would have suggested for a workhorse. It may be worth looking into if your apps benefit from lots o threads.

Wouldn't a quadro/firepro be better for CAD?
Looks like you just built a generic 720p twitch FPS gaming rig.

the quadro is definitely a more stable set up but I couldn't bear spending the extra $3k on very little performance boost. All the benchmarks point to the gaming card for a lot less money you get comparable performance
anyway, thanks for the comments

And there she is! I was loading up Autodesk software all day! Well multitasking so, it was a little slow progress
