I had reached 200x21 before and it was stable for a few weeks and then it became unstable, so I backed down to 195x21.

Well tonight happens to be one of the coldest so far, well, how about we push my poor little 920 to its limits

heres my run, with hyper threading and all 8 threads running :D

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1510187

surprisingly it was stable enough to run IBT and F@H but it was acting funny(USB devices dropping and reconnecting, sluggish audio) so im sure this was the teetering point of instability.

Damn dude, your voltage is crazy. Running with your multiplier that high doesn't it tax your north bridge considerably more, or maybe I'm thinking backwards. How do you get a multiplier that high? I want an i7 but my q6600 at 3.6 with 1.472v is cool for now on my water setup. Wish my voltage could go down more, but it's not stable.

I am hoping to wait for the next generation i7 successor until I replace this cpu, whenever that will be, lol.

My chip would need 1.43 (somewhere around there) for 3.6ghz. I enabled LLC and I'm now able to get the q6600 to 3.7 with 1.33vcore. I would read up on LLC first though, if you are not sure what it is.

the intel turbo goes to x22 sometimes, my voltage is only 1.35v my VTT is +0.4 Dram to 1.66 and IOH to 1.3

What kind of cooling do you have?

Looks like a fast CPU. Very low voltage on your CPU-Z screen shot.

is it stable at that voltage? thats like less then what stock voltage is. what kind of temps are you getting under load?

edit, sorry mis read your post a bit. i bet if you bumped your voltage a bit, you would be fine. i played around to see how low i can get my voltage @ 4ghz, and 1.1 i lost usb. 1.2ish was perfectly stable

I think CPU-Z never gets the voltage right for my cpu, but it is 1.35 in the bios, I use a Corsair H50(sig)

ambient temps 5*C, load temps ~70*C, thanks, yeah I think maybe bumping to 1.4v would make everything stable enough.

Ambient 5C!!! Can you see your own breath? :p

And my house feels cold at 15c which is like 60f. I wear a t-shirt with a thermal and sweatshirt on to stay warm. 5c would drive me apeshit, haha. Anyway, 1.35 makes more sense, you still have a good chip there.
