still working out the kinks, got this error while i slept:

[12:30:58] Client-core communications error: ERROR 0xc0000029
[12:30:58] Deleting current work unit & continuing...

Toit figures its probably memory related. in a bit ill be shutting her down for a min to put another 2gb mem in(only had 2 in for the install)

I'm not quite sure what it is. I only stated that the only time I saw this error in the past was on -bigadv boxen when memory starts getting low.

Mr. Pedantic had this happen to him a few months ago: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1530460

I had a similar error, it ended up being an unstable oc (consequently it was prime95 stable). I bumped the voltage a bit and walla, no more errors!

Yeah, this error is usually the result of a bad overclock, bad memory, or some other system instability issue. Unfortunately, Feather told me he is running at stock clock so it is a bit pesky to troubleshoot.

Ahh, I didn't catch that. That does make it a bit more troubling.

ya, i think it was the memory being run at 1.904v instead of rated 2.1v , changed it

amdgamer had a similar problem due to bad memory - http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1036036724

It was actually do to bad ram slots for folding2. There is a thread over in the Mobo section of the forums, but there seems to be a LOT of x58 motherboards having lots of ram trouble right now. I glanced at it 2 days ago, and it appears the eVGA x58 boards are getting hit the hardest. Kyle mentioend in the thread that he seems to think that there are a bunch of bad dimm slots going around as no x58 motherboard manufacturer appears to be spared.

Since the rig was still new, Microcenter did some diagnostics on it and the ram slot ended up shorting out and taking out all 3 DIMMs with it when it blew during the tests.
