a little doubt, please?

SATA 6Gb drives should negotiate to 3Gb speeds. SATA devices are supposed to be reverse compatible and should negotiate the highest speed capable by the devices at both ends of the link.
 
I'm running a Crucial M4 256GB on my H55 express motherboard with no issues.

Nothing to configure, plug and play. NCQ and Trim enabled in windows 7.
