Hey guys,
I am new to watercooling, and like everyone else, I read the boards so much trying to learn about watercooling.
Before I spend a couple hundred here, I went ahead and bought a cheap-o Larkooler kit from Microcenter.
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0342860
I bought it just to learn the basics of putting the watercooler system together, how to route cables, mounting issues, etc.. When I first got it, I didnt see many reviews or any discussions on this kit ...
Although I do not think I am impressed (the kit only cost 120 ~ or so.. I didnt expect much), I was not expecting to see 30c on the cpu under load.. but at the same time, this kit keeps the cpu @ 105F or about 36c under load constantly.
The kit comes with very small tubing which I cannot find specs on... I wanted to put the CPU back on air and give the HD6950 (primary) a run with this kit, but just cannot figure out which barbs or connectors I need to do this with.
I got a swifttech MCW80 that I've been wanting to throw on the primary 6950 (Usually temps are at 150f + on air).
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on the type of tube connectors I should use on the MCW80 to make it fit this kit?
Thanks guys!
