Im looking to update my current AMD MoBo. I need something that high performance and is duel core compatible, if i could get a link that wold be great too.

Your post is lacking crucial info like: for which CPU?
AM2/AM2+: Gigabyte UD3 770 --> DDR2
AM3: Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P --> DDR3

Both are really affordable.
 
There isnt a mainboard out that isnt dual core compatible :)
Even quad core :)

eh, wel its for my friend really i dont know a whole lot about hardware, thus why im on here, he said that he wanted to use DDR2 ram though i remember that much
