I love new gadgets and toys. Using them as much as I can daily just gives me pride in the money I put on the gadgets I buy.

However, I have a dilemma. Recently purchased an Ipad (I'm a college student) I want to take it to my classes to take notes or surf etc etc. Problem here is that I dont want to get any attention or have people ask me what it is or for lack of a better word "judge" me. I'm sure that others who love gadgets have come across the same thing in the work place. I imagine the first Iphone owners had the same problem.

I'm sorry if I haven't explained it too fine but am I the only one feeling this way? I'm reluctant to use my new gadgets out in public because of people possibly judging me.

Judging you how? As an Apple fan or as an early adopter? You might be able to avoid unwanted attention by using the case. It might look a little more like a binder depending on the size of your classroom.

And honestly, the real world is a lot less judgemental on gadgets than people on the internet. People will be curious about it, but will probably think it's cool or at worst, unimpressive. Unless you work at an engineering firm (like me), in which case you're screwed.

Yeah early adopter is what I'm talking about. Funny thing I took it to an IT class today just to draw up some notes etc. and got 2 people standing around me to check it out......damnit hah.
