Thinking of going with a WC setup in my new rig, the air setup currently is nice but it's not quite letting me get to a decent OC on my i7 920 without causing some concerning temperatures. I've been looking at WC gear & rigs & reviews & info around here for some time now, and I have some questions. I want to go as top of the line WCing as possible without breaking the bank completely while I'm at it, if at all possible.

1) What is the primary difference between these two pumps other than the price:
Swiftech MCP 355
Danger Den Laing DDC 3.25
Will a MCP 355 top fit a DDC 3.25 pump and vice-versa? The 3.1/3.2/3.25 all seem the same shape, I need some confirmation that the custom tops will work interchangeably between each version. Also, what is the major improvement of the 3.25 over the 3.2, and is it worth the $20 per loop?

2) One of the big decisions at this point is whether to go with a $130 radiator or a $50 radiator, assuming I'm going with two loops (one for SLI'd GTX 285s and one for CPU+MB), it'd be a huge cost reduction if I could go with the cheaper radiator, and from reading some reviews, I'm still not convinced which way I should go, with the sub-$50 Swiftech 120.3, or the Feser $125 120.3? Saving $150 by going with the cheaper rad would be great to help fit nicer blocks in to the budget, but am I losing more than I'm gaining by going with a cheaper rad in this particular case? I understand this is pretty subjective, and reviews seem to say the Swiftech rad is just fine, I just want some community input to make sure I'm going down the right path.

3) Compression Fittings or Barbs? I'm looking at 3/8" or 1/2" ID tubing with 1/8" walls. The compression fittings look a lot cooler in my opinion, and seem safer, but not having any experience, I have no idea if the looks are worth the price tag.

4) Is it a good idea to go with something like this, or would it be better to have everything separate, or does it not make any difference at all? I have a fair amount of space to work with in my case (LL V1200) so this is mainly a consideration for cutting costs without hurting temps.

I like danger den, but their pump price is a bit high. I guess it'll depend on where you're ordering everything else. Jabtech has pretty good prices all around (sidewinder does too, but as you seen, they don't sell the 3.25) especially on tubing.
Also, yes the tops fit both the 355 and 3.25. Someone else will have to tell you how much difference there is between the two - I only own the 3.25.
