• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

ok...me and my buddy have been running the folding@home for a while on a few dozen comptuers. when we installed the program we signed up for team 33. whenever we look at the Folding@Home donator statistics page we find the names we have been using on this. how do we sign up to be part of the [H]orde on www.hardfolding.com? are we already signed up?

i just read that the original folding@home is over...lmao..i guess we need to go stop those machines that have been runing the program in the computer labs... now if we setup v4...how do we become members of the horde? :p

You only need to enter in team 33.

If you JUST installed the F@H client, you already have the version 4 client.

You do not need to list yourself on hardfolding.com to become a part of the team. That's completely optional. To do that theres a submission page somewhere on the site, where you can send your info to the webmaster.

Yes to answer your question upgrade the machines in the lab to v4 of the program and just make sure that they do same team #33 the webpage that you are talking about is just for personal use really so that we can see where different people are living at and folding for Team 33 but we welcome you to the forums and to that webpage

Also - be careful - do not edit the .cfg file with most text editors, it will hose it, use the config flag.
Make sure you have permission.
Be careful in the spelling of your name(s) - once a point is assigned it's nigh impossible to change who it belongs to.
