Some beginner questions.
As far as dedicated graphics go, does gaming capable graphics card = hot laptop? Every time I read about a laptop that has a gaming capable card it seems everyone complains about heat.
Does a gaming laptop always have to be a "luggable" instead of a "portable"? Is there such thing as a lightweight (under 6lbs) gaming laptop?
As far as performance goes, how does the x1600 and 7900GS compare to desktop gpus? How about the x1400? What's the minimum to play Half-life2 engine games?
And finally, is there anything at the 1000-1200$ price point that would be able to handle gaming relatively well?
