A Few First-Time Modding Questions

Hello. I am going to start modding my case and I have a few questions. I have a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811208008.

First off, I am going to install some Sunbeam EL Blue Wire around the Gray X on the front. hoever, I can't find a hole to fit the cable through. I don't want to drill a hole in my case... (in case [no pun] I dont like it or it doesn't work) I don't want to drill a hole in one of the slot punchouts at the back because then I would have to run the wire all the way back to the front. There looks to be a way I could snake it through the door hinge without jamming it, but I'm not sure.

I'm going to use a nibbler, http://www.coolerguys.com/840556056751.html, are they any good? Thanks for your help!

My thoughts verbatim.

That nibbler is OK, wouldn't recommend one personally. They DO work, but if you search
the forums you will find plenty of complaints about them. Mostly just hands hurting, and the
fact that the nibbler is slow, as well as leaves jagged edges. A hand file or small wheel grinder
should take care of that. I've also read multiple posts where people complained about the
nibblers getting dull quickly.

A good pair of snips would be the better choice, provided thay are used correctly. Would
be more expensive of course. If you have a Dremel that might be best for cutting out the
window. Plenty of guides out there.

I've had a hell of a time trying to use a good snips to mod. It's basically impossible to create a rounded corner and in my experience the snips will cause some waves/bends in the case material around the cut. Get a rotary tool (not necessarily a Dremel-especially if this is the only time that you'll use it-Dremels have been called the Kleenex of rotary tools) and get some cutting wheels.
