1. When does the 3 free games promotion begin and end? Does Deus Ex include the missing link dlc?
2. When will all the retailers cut their prices? Have noticed plenty of retailers who did not do that yet.
3. If a 7950 is overclocked without voltage adjustment, can it roughly match gtx 680 speeds when the latter is running at stock speeds? Games I am interested in are Crysis 2, Witcher 2, Batman, Skyrim.

As the above comment states yes a 7950 overclocks to a 7970! but a 7970 overclocks to match a 680 so in theory a 7950 cant match a 680
 
If u get a HD 7950 OC model like Sapphire HD 7950 OC or Gigabyte HD 7950 OC you should be able to hit 1 - 1.05 Ghz easily. If you get 1.1 Ghz you are very lucky. Above that on stock voltage will be difficult. At those speeds you would get to GTX 680 perf on Crysis 2, Witcher 2 and close to in Skyrim (behind by 5 - 10% ). Batman will run slower on HD 7950 even when OC'd. AMD's performance especially at 4X MSAA, 8X MSAA falls clearly behind nVIDIA . Great card at current prices. Go for it.

Just checked newegg this morning and they are now listing 7950s with 3 free games promotion. Amazon is not, so apparently not all retailers offer the 3 games, fyi.
 
7950 and 7970 are virtually identical at same speeds.

No reason to buy 7970 if you're into tweaking.

As far as matching 680 - same Hz will do it since same hz 7970 trades with 680.

No reason to buy GTX 680 either unless you just love nV.

$369 7950 is the card to get at high end these days. It's still about $60 over priced IMO but so are all 28nm until price war starts. If it starts at all.
 
My His IceQ 7950 runs at 1150 mhz with no votage tweak and ive beaten the gtx 680 in all the benchmarks ive performed.To run at 7970 stock speed with the 7950 you would only have to hit about 950 mhz which is incredibly easy with these cards.I agree also that there is no reason to get anything other then a 7950 at the highend if you overclock.
 
I agree with everyone here. A 7950 is just as powerful as a 7970. I oc'ed mine to 1100/1450 and in B3 temps never go above 58 degrees. It is so quiet as well. I have a Sapphire Oc model.
