Another noob question..... if you set up a bunch 'o boxes......does each need a HD and an OS????? I would assume so, how have you guys swung this expense wize?????
 
Some people get really old hard drives. ~4gb. Enough to install an OS - linux/Foldix maybe - and a couple hundred megabytes. Our very own unhappy_mage wrote Foldix which is basically a complete folding OS. Just need to insert the cd in, let it automatically format the drive, type your name and team in, and everything is good to go. No costs involved, but the initial hardware.

 
I'm noticing a trend here, seems mage writes just about everything. :D

Pretty much....Mage is the MAN...he should try to get into stanford and work on the actual folding program :)

Heh - unhappy_mage would probably not tell you he's already going to a damn good school and intends to learn a few more things so he can go show the Stanford crew how it really SHOULD be done ! :p GO_MAGE !!!

I've got a 4 gb hard drive. I'll sell it for five bucks! :)

where does mage go? i know he lives in Maryland, so my first guess is U-MD since it has a very good Comp Sci program.
