looks like all twisted pair wire holding it up... from Cat5 cable most likely. Interesting idea but messy.

I wonder how much effect the cooling fans have on this thing, as far as spinning goes?? Or, for that matter, does the hard drive or optical drive tend to twist as the drive spins up?? ;)
 
Would be a nice pinata :p Candy in the cd drive and betwee pci slots. Maybe even a dogeball target?
