A color problem on a Sony TV

I use a Sony LCD TV as PC Monitor, but I have an issue with colors. In the videos (I use VLC, but i've tried any videoplayers) there's a predominace of red and I can't manage to fix this also with calibration software (I used powerstrip); it works for desktop and photos, but not for videos.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.
