Hey! We need to have more people from the [H] represented in the A.C. Ryan Worklog contest. The Grand prize is a cool $2,400 USD plus there giving out Random Prizes as well. You can find more information here. Both modders and readers (who post) can win. :D

Sounds excellent. I should make a worklog for my upcoming Swiftech build  Probably not a winner, but it will be fun to participate :)

Hey looking good as we now got three people representing the [H]. Need more!

Well, I entered, but I probably have about as much of a chance of winning as the me being able to vote & drink legally by the end of the contest :p

I just looked in that FAQ and spotted 21 forums listed for worklogs and there are probably 2-3 times as many sites not even listed...

I had never thought it would be this popular when I and Cold Dog posted the first worklogs ever over at pheatonforums in 2001... The logs by Cold Dog are sadly no longer online since that forum has closed down for good. Copies of mine are still online on my website.

We will see if I enter the competition later on when I get the new log started properly.

Lots of interesting things going on in project logs and they are a good way to see what works and more importantly what doesn't work. ;) I see lots of good logs here on the [H]ardForum so I wanted to encourage people to enter.

So far it seems like most of the logs entered are from Europe. In addition to my project log here I also have one at the Bit-tech Forum and also the Aqua Computer Forum. I figured that covers North America, England, and Germany to get feedback from modders all over the world. :D

Don't be too sure about that as it isn't about the best work on the modding side of things, but more about the interaction between modders and posters. They are also giving out lots of other stuff as the contest goes on. One of our fellow modders (Modsquad2) here has already become a winner. :D

Hey that's the spirit. :) I find everybody's worklog to be quite unique even if they have similar projects.

Bump... I'm in the contest. I have my logs on here, bit-tech, my own site, velocity reviews and plan to mirror them other places too. Bit Tech moved my log on me because they say it's a "Story with pictures" rather than an ongoing log. It's not, it's ongoing. It'll NEVER be totally finished, that's part of the point of it. :)

Of course, if you don't enter, my chances of winning go up so... don't enter, okay? <Smile>

I use to surf Pheaton all the time. I must say they had some of the BEST projects (not logs) ever. I mean we have mashie CF Bug, Lord Pheatons frost box - just to name a couple.

Now back to the topic - I really like the idea AC has because it doesnt limit the contestants to their skills with building but more on the writing and picture skills. Just wish I could have something to enter

It sucks that Pheaton's forums have died off. That was one of the first places I hung out. He also had some nice stuff in CPU. (Yo! Kyle, what happened there, we want more of his stuff in the mag dude!) :)

Dream something up ;) The [H]ardForum now has 9 entries and is fourth in the list of entries. Come on guys...let's show everybody all the class acts we got here. Need more entries!

I've never done a worklog, I've been lucky enough to get sponsered inpart or completely and have done full articles on mine, so worklogs are out of the question..............

Jeez it's a tough world out there when you can't even take part in doing your own thing on a project. ;)

It seems that way sometimes........... :D Honestly, I wanted to do one on my Bio Rig but that came to a stop real quick due to a article also. But people have seem the better part of it in differant stages anyway.................... :D

Wait, you can't do a worklog if you do an article in a mag? They better pay well because that's a crap deal.

I hope you make the big bucks on these review deals as exclusives suk big time. :(
