I would switch to google chrome over firefox but the only thing holding me back is the way it handles bookmarks. Is there a way to get it to display bookmarks in its own window on the side of a webpage like IE and Firefox can? Right now I have the bookmark manager page pinned but that is really bothersome to go back to it to find the bookmark and using the bar I have to scroll through a ton of book marks to find the one I want.

Also how do I turn off auto fill? There is an option where you can enter stuff to have it fill in but right now when ever I go to gmail or any other site I have to login to it will want to auto fill my user names and I turn that off because that just makes it easier for someone to login as me if they know my user name.

Now that Opera 11 has Extensions it might be worth considering, they invented panels way back.
The new installer is very good only 6.8MB & it has a portable option built in.
open options & change the install path to point to a folder & under install for, select External drive. No registry entries made.
You'll find panels in the menu under appearance.

Just tried out opera, I don't like the way it does book marks either, I imported them and it put them in folders and open up to the side making some big mess when I have multiple folders.

The answer to your prayers -

There's pretty much an extension for all the thing's you're used to from other browsers and more.

To change autofill options hit the wrench, options, autofill options

While we're at it, you probably also want -

Lets you get into the chrome about pages quick and easy

IE tab lets you open an instance of IE inside chrome when you are at an older or stubborn page that won't render in webkit.

Thanks, your the best! You deserve a medal, I think I can finally switch to google chrome now!

So after messing around with it, it is better, but is there a way to make the bookmarks menu of neat books longer? I still have to scroll a ton. Also how can I move the extensions to the left instead of the right?

I just use x-marks.

Given the BS that they've pulled lately, I quit using Xmarks.
"We're shutting down, oh noes". A couple weeks later "we're staying open, we have offers from 3rd parties". Who knows what company will buy them out and what they'll do with that info.
I'll stick with free sync now. Xmarks never worked properly in Chrome anyway, and now Chrome (and Fx 4 beta) have free sync. You can't sync cross-browser and you can't have more than 1 "profile" but that's ok.
