I have included a picture of the device I need.
As far as I know there is no such animal. I
hate dual booting and the problems that go
alone with it.
Sure would appreciate some advice on how, and
where I could get this made. If I have not made

I take it you are trying to make a machine easy-to-use that has both Windows and Linux on it?

Other option might be a DPDT switch:

You put +5V on 1P and +12V on 2P
HDD #1 gets wired to +5V 1T and +12V 1T
HDD #2 gets wired to +5V 2T and +12V 2T.
Leave the grounds always connected.

You'd have to do some wire work, with either spade connectors or some soldering for this idea though.

I didn't have much luck finding anything else out-of-the-box but there probably is something out there ready-made.
 
The data cables can always stay connected. If there is no power to an HDD then the motherboard won't recognize that it is there.

We could probably do something simpler if you are only using SSDs as I think they only run off of 5V.

I'm not sure I have the skills to make one myself.
The drives I have are NOT SSDs.
Of course the abswitch has 3 terminals. 1 for power to the abswitch.
2 for connections to each HD.
The real problem is the connectors. They must identical to the ones
used in my computer. Have no idea how many wires are in the power
cable in my computer.

I tried modifying my previous diagram using the [ ] and had no luck with it.
I created a JPG image with paint and then copied it but this site would
not let me paste it inline.
I don't know how to proceed.

I can give you the text without the rectangle and the lines going down.
Maybe that will help.
