Hello, I am not trying to go past 4GHz, I just want to know if my settings are all good and what I can do to stabilize even more the oc I currently have, I've ran P95 and Intel Burn Tester and it seems stable! I've ran all benchmarks and they all run without a problem, I've also gamed for 5+ hours and no problems, I just like to know if there's anything more that I can do to make this overclock better.

I currently have my vcore at 1.26 and was wondering is that safe? Will I have any problems?

I'm currently running the Asetek Water Cooling, I have a Rampage III extreme and a 980x processor.

just keep raising the cpu multiplier and voltage til you reach as far as you want to go or the processor will go. pretty much the easiest way to see what you can get out of the processor. should have no problems hitting 4.2-4.5Ghz.

as far as voltage goes your completely fine. i think the max voltage for those is 1.4v. you should be able to hit 4.2Ghz some where around 1.32-1.35v maybe a little lower with the water cooling.

set your blck back to 133 voltage to 1.3 qpi to 1.3

set your mulit to 33

should be good to go

+1 for both. 4.2 is pretty easily attainable and works well 24/7 H20 cooled.

Looks like you have lots of room for over clocking.

Not sure how stable your MB will handle that cpu but If I had that cpu I would keep the bclk at a nice warm speed of around 180mhz and work with the multiplier to get the CPU at around 4.7GHZ. Once I got that stable I would work on the ram ratios and NB speed for a nice 2000mhz+/3600mhz NB+ speed with at least CAS7 timings. I think it would be easy to do with that cpu and decent ram and decent cooling.

Extrem 980x merits at least 4.5GHZ+ speed 24/7 IMO. I would push for 5GHZ 24/7. It's an expensive CPU and that is what I would expect from it.
