980ti in Virginia

Hi Guys,

I'm heading to Virgina next month travelling form the UK and considering picking up a 980ti as they will be considerably cheaper due to rip off britain.
My question is, who is the cheapest reputable onlineseller that wont charge additional tax to deliver to VA?
I will be happy with a reference cooler.
Pref Zotac due to warranty.

+1 for BHPhotoVideo. If ordering from NewEgg, I would grab HoverHound and see if it's cheaper to just grab from Amazon... NewEgg CS is pretty good, but my experience is that Amazon goes above and beyond to help the customer.

Really though you can't go wrong with the above mentioned I would say, BHPhotoVideo, NewEgg, Amazon, SuperBiiz, etc are all good to order from.
 
If there is a Microcenter in the town/City you are visiting they are gonna be the same as Newegg but you get to leave the store that day with a shiny new sugar coated bad boy 980ti.

On my 980ti (Gigabyte) the reference cooler is not bad at all. I actually think it is quite good given how powerful this card is. The fan at wide open throttle is not very loud at all, sure it is audible, but not annoyingly so like my R9-290X was.
 
But tangoseal, he will have to pay tax on the purchase - 6% for NOVA = 40 bucks extra.

You can't get refunds on that like tourists visiting the UK can.

Also, you people have no idea how the warranty support is across the pond. If something goes wrong he wants a stronger European company like Zotac.

Depending on where in VA you're going to be, you might try a brick and mortar store. If you are going to be in the Northern VA area and have access to a car, there is a Microcenter in Fairfax that usually has good deals when i lived int he DC metro area. Newegg would be your best bet though, Amazon and Tiger Direct as well.
 
Forget Amazon.They've been out of stock for a solid month.Unless you want to pay the gouging resellers there.
 
Keep an eye out for open-box deals at Micorcenter.
There are 3 locations nearby - Reston (Virginia), Baltimore/Towson and Beltway/Rockville in nearby Maryland.

They have killer open-box deals but you'll have to actively check their website.

Gives me some good options to check out when i'm there.
