I am trying to find specs on the differences between the old ATI 9800 XT and the ATI X800 Pro.

Newegg does not have the ATI 9800XT in its listing and ATI's site is not showing much.
 
pipelines are 8 vs. 12, if i'm correct

9800XT is around 412/370 or something similar...

they both have 256MB of RAM...

and then, of course, different architecture...

are you looking at buying one of them? why do you ask? (if you don't mind MY asking...)
 
I am replacing my 9800XT with a X800 Pro.
I am getting this card from work since we have an ATI contract.

I got my 9800XT one year ago for $200 bucks and now I can get a X800 Pro for $220.

Figured it was a step better than what I have and it seems to retail for like ~$399.00
