im used of lookin at the temp for the 5900. how do i find out my gpu temp for my radeon 9800xt using the catylist 4.3 drivers?
 
my friend can look at his temp on his asus 9800xt using asus smartdoctor, but that program is meant for the asus. but ive heard all xt's have temp sensors on them.

Click the overdrive tab. Its pretty hard to miss.

Or you can use rivatuner.
 
Overdrive tab has it.

Make sure you are using ATI's drivers, though, NOT the manufacturer drivers (in the case of those that have their own).

It shows the 'overdrive' level and the temp there. (Don't bother enabling 'overdrive' - it's a useless feature. Rather, if you are going to overclock, do it 'right' - manually!)
 
when i used rivatuner it showed me about 44C idle and when i look in overdriver its showing about 64C idle, and the temps go about about 5C during load.
