I'm going to be building a second PC within the next month, and I wanted to know if a 9800XT for $325 would be worth the upgrade from my 9700 pro? If I didn't get the XT, I'd get a refurb TI4400 from newegg for $85. Should I cough up the extra money and get an XT or buy the 4400 and wait for R420 for my main pc? I'd be running the card with a 2500+

ppl will say here, keep your 9700pro and wait for the next gen card. but if you can get a 9800XT at that price ($325.00), i say go grab one..

Of course, it's a refurb from newegg and doesn't come with HL2, but the original HL didn't interest me, neither did CS, so I'm not hyped about it like you guys are. I just want to be able to run Morrowind with 4x/16X at 1024x768, get KOTOR to run AT ALL,be able to play BF1942 and UT2K3 and 2K4 without jerkiness, and be able to turn on specular and shadows in Halo.
