I've searched the forums but cannot find an answer. so here goes

Which is the fastest or most stable 9800XT bios. I flashed to XT from my 9800pro and i'm using the GigaCube9800XT128MBSamsungE-die bios.

does anyone have any other suggestions? :cool:

Make sure you get the bios for YOUR exact brand. If your brand is a Sapphire 9800 Pro 128MB, you must download the Sapphire 9800XT 128MB bios. Note that the MB and memory bits do matter.

If your video card is working fine at 412/385mhz, then you're fine. My friend overclocked his to 450/400, his was a Saph 9800pro flashed to XT.
 
i have a new problem i was trying to use the gecube bios yesterday b.c it has overdrive but for some reason my bios is locked and i get an error whenever i try to re-flash it. can anyone help me out here? :(

edit: thx for the advice i'll use the standard ati 9800XT bios after this. and i did pay attention to have a samsung memory bios
 
Oh shit, you gotta download your video card's EXACT brand/model's bios to make it working again...It's hard to blind flash, if you're inexperienced. Advice is blow some cash on a PCI (NOT PCIe card) and you'll be able to see the bios when you're flashing the bios back to 9800pro.
 
nono, the problem is that I cant reflash my card. It says the bios is locked now so now I am a little stuck. I did read up on it everywhere I could. i read over 5 sources to get an idea of what i was doing but now when i type

"flash -f -p 0 9800XT.bin "

it gives me a error. ill post when i get the exact error msg.
