9800XT at 61 Celsius...

Sorry to ask questions that have probably already been answered, but the search function is still down...

I just loaded 4,1 drivers and noticed VPU temp at 61

Any comments shouls I be worried

my 9600xt is 36c idle, jumps up to 50c after playing NFS-U for a half hour. clocked @ 526/335

9600 XT = 22 watts

9800 XT = 74 watts

The 9600XT is on a 13 micron core, so it runs a lot cooler.

I'm getting 60-61C with my ATI brand 9800XT aswell. So no need to get worried.

overclocking video cards(or anything for that matter) is usually luck of the draw, some will OC amazingly and some will suck



also, will my video card get artifacts before it gets too hot or will it heat up before artifacts?
