Which is better. I think the se's soft mod to the pro? I currently have a FX5200. My budget is $130.

The 9700pro would be best, as there is no guarantee the 9800se will run as a 9800pro. IMO.
 
i used have 9800se@9800pro (380/330) n it wasn't much faster than 9500@9700 (270/270).. even when they were o/ced to 440/365 n 365/285.
