Hi,
I've got a Yuan 9800SE and sucessfully softmodded it to a 9800. It's a 256bit version and uses Samsung 2.8ns mem. chips. The PCB is Radeon 9800's PCB with HDD power connector, it looks 100% like a 9800.
The default clock speed for this card is 378mhz Core and 300mhz Mem(600 DDR).
I managed to overclock it to 9800Pro's speed 380/680 without any problems and artifacts.
My question is :
1) Since I've sucessfully softmod it, can I flash the BIOS with a Radeon 9800 Pro BIOS so the the 8 pipelines are enabled by default ? I want to turn it straight to 9800Pro since i don't have problems running it at 380/680.
2) Which BIOS file do you all recommend ? I can't find any Yuan 9800Pro BIOS.
2) Will I face any probs if I flash the BIOS ?
