9800pro vs 5900xt

I've been pondering about replacing my broken 9700pro, and I've come to the conclusion that I would get a MSI RX9800pro or a MSI RX5900XT. I've had ATI for the first time ever and it was great but I'm willing to go back to Nvidia. I've read that there are great bundle for each card and both preform well. I plan to flash the 9800pro to 9800XT if I get it. Either this or I wait a few more months for a X800pro/XT :p . What do you guys think?

get the BFG 5900XTOC
IMO the best 5900XT card money can buy and i love it..i am also upgrading to a 6800GT next pay check the BFG6800GTOC w00tz0r.......

Nice...I read about evga's step up plan so I might buy a 6800 and get an ultra later.
 
Either get the 9800 now or wait for the 6800 or x800.
The 5900XT is an excellent DX8.1 card however ;)
