after seing a previous 9800pro thread i thought id ask about my system

well here are my results in the following situations

first my rig: (all stock)

msi kt4vl mobo on board lan and ac97 sound (latest bios installed)
amd xp 2800+ (barton)
1x 256 ddr 2700 kingston value
1X 256 spekteck ddr2700 both at 2.5 cas latency
1x maxtor ultra 133 30gig 7200 rpm hd
9800pro 128mb with arctic cooler ati coller 3 (see gpu card pics thread)
windows xp pro

ati drivers installed by xp (no control panel to tweak)

3dmark01 14528
3dmark03 5411
aquamark3 36266

cat 4.9 (3d slider for opengl and d3d in middle)

3dmark01 14775
3dmark03 5559
aquamark3 36432 (5244gfx, 5962cpu)

cat 4.9 (sliders on the left for performance)

3dmark01 14808
3dmark03 5577
aquamark3 36376 (5232gfx, 5964cpu)

now to me these are low scores hiest ive achieved is:

3dmark01 15539 (more like it should be but this is only achieved when using windows 2k 14826 hiest achieved under xp driver 6.14.01.6292)
3dmark03 5611 (driver 6.14.10.6467 xp o.s)
aquamark3 36456 (6.14.10.6422 driver xp o.s)

now i think i should be able to get higher scores what are otehr peoples at stock speeds with this cpu any1 know how to increase it without ocing it?

Its a bit of your ram, but no worries, still a very nice score, plus the test isnt 100% accurate either. Its just a benchie, doesnt mean your system is bad

Thats about right for that system and cpu. First your on a KT400 with PC2700 ram running a 2 Ghz Barton, correct ?

You'd have a much higher score running an nForce2 Ultra400 board with a high performance cpu like a mobile 2600 OC'd to 2.6+ Ghz and some low latency (cas2) PC3200 or faster ram. You can't expect Corvette performance from a Neon....

Here's a link to my Aqua score with a 5900 Ultra which runs about the same as a 9800 Pro....

oc'd gpu to a stable 423.36core 363.54 mem 43/23 mhz increase i dont think thats too bad at all (love the cooler) score now 6047 quite a nice jump from 5577 id say. damn i just looked and i hadnt moved the slider to perfromance was still on middle. will have to try again later lol.
