Ok so I take off my heatsink today and apply some AS5 on the core of my 9800pro, put it back in and BAM articating, i dont know WTF is wrong with it, but does anyone know how I can fix it, or wats wrong with it?
 
Make sure the thermal grease you applied is thin and evenly spread and that the heatsink/cooler is mounted correctly on the gpu.
 
If it isn't applied correcty, then remove the bad stuff using 91% alcohol and clean both the chip and the hsf then reapply.

Does the artifacting occur immediately, or only under load? How long have you had the card? Ever had any problems? Any software changes recently?
