9800pro price drop...where is it?

[RancidWAnnaRIot]

Hello,

I remember hearing people talk about price drops on the 9800pro.. haven't seen one... anyone know when we will be seeing one?

They have dropped by about $30, what did you expect? Now under $200, the 9800 is now the best mid level card on the market and most can be flashed to XT's making the demand for them still very high. Believe it or not, most people have no desire or the budget to spend $400 on a video card to play one game. And by the time we see the Doom3 engine in another game the GT and x800 will be selling for $250........
