9800pro (agp) vs 6600gt (pci-e)

Doing an upgrade, trying to keep it cheap. Currently have a 9800pro, agp, with a silent cooling system. Works ok for the game I play. Im moving to a s939 system, and am trying to at least upgrade to a faster card, but not spend much money on it.

Dual DVI, PCI-E, nVidia are my requirements. Nothing to do with ATi, I just know that nVidia can do 2 things for me, chop the screen into sections, and multithreaded drivers. AFAIK ATi does neither of those things, so they are out of the question.

6600GT fits the requirements, and its a 8 pipe card. Is it same/faster than the 9800pro though? What are the cheaper/quieter brands? Any that are really *really* quiet?

How much faster is a 6800GT compared to the 6600GT or the 9800pro?
 
6800GT is a big improvement over the 6600GT and 9800.

silent brands? how about DEAD silent? gigabye has a passive cooled 6600GT. heat pipes.

6600GT is slightly more powerful than the 9800 and is more future proof.

out of curiosty you know of any passive 6800GTs?
