at newegg they selling sapphire 9800pros 128mb for about 215.
this other place says they got visiontek xstacy 9800pro 256mb for the same price. never seen a visiontek 9800pro before, are they any good?what woud you do? i dont wanna sound stupid but, i think i read somewhere that the 256mb actually slows u down, but im not sure. which one should i get? the 256mb or the 128mb?

The 256MB version doesn't have much of an improvement to justify it's steeper (MSRP) price compared to the 128MB one. but for that price, I think you might as well go for it. I'm just afraid that Amazon listed the wrong price. For me it's hard to trust amazon, they screwed me over so many times.... :(

Visiontek recently got back into the graphic card business. They were pretty popular back then because they were one of the first ones to release nvidia cards. They usually follow reference designs, so the performance will be similar to BBA card.

One good thing is that the visiontek model comes with a lifetime warranty.

dude so u think this is the wrong price? because the other 9800's show up more expensive.
