9800Ppro to x800

I was wondering, when the x800 comes out do u think there would be anyway to Flash the Bios to a x800, becuase i really don't feel like buy another video card. that is gonna cost like 500-600 dollars. But if i could flash it what cooling would u recommend?
 
LMFAO I love this stuff. Ever since the whole 9500np softmod deal everyone figures they can turn their card into the latest and greatest with the click of a button.

dont mind these guys Shawn like Brent said you'll even probaly be able to "...flash it from AGP to PCI-Express", so have hope.

did you get the latest download for upgrade your ram to 256mb for your card?

i did it on my 9200SE ULTRA XT and it is spot on awesomeness.
 
yeah last time i duck taped my old ti4200 GPU onto the back of my new 9100se and it gave me 10% FPS MOER!@!11 and when me and myf riends cooled it more better with PENTIUM HEATSINKS on the ram our 3dmarks went up to teh roof

Of course I did. Who wouldnt want more ram? I cant wait for 512mb cards so I can flash my current card to one and download even more ram.
 
And I just unlocked those extra "hidden" pipes on my radeon 7500, and magically the connector changed!
 
pmfg I added a soundcard to my gf2 gts 32 meg, flashed the gfx card bios to 9800 xt and it supercharged my cpu into an AMD athlon 64bit 3000+ after the majo0r flashiness!!!!

you guys are such n00bs, I've been downloading more video RAM 24/7 off kazaa...I think I'm up to 1.4GB now, but it takes time.

hahaha, the other day I hacked into some lamer's FSB and sucked up all his megahurtz...more power for me!

nah...I wouldn't say so...but I had been thinking of using that trick for the CPU you know...the one that will let my XP2400 run at 3.8THz with stock cooling...and the other one that will let my 9800Pro run with a 10Ghz clock speed and 20Ghz for Memory..you know the one I am talking about...people really need to pull their head out of their asses before posting crap
 
oh brother, when I flashed my 9800 pro to warp 11 speed it just disappeared. I think it went through a wormhole and may be on the other side of galaxia 5 in the centurion district. :eek:

This is just too much... and shame on me for contributing to these posts but I just couldn't help it.

thats nothin... the other day my hax0r friend emailed me another 4megs of L2cache for my p4. then i stuck the sucker on top of my 7200 flashed to 9800xt-ultra-mega-super-duper and now i have the best video card in the world! 160,457,433 3dmarks!

I downloaded the latest drivers for my stereo and now I get 7.1 with dolby digital ETS.

I also flashed my video card for quad display and it doubled the number of displays I had and I was able to flash more ram (at 4 gigs now) and up the speed to 3 petahertz.

You can do it man, its worth it.
