Meh personally I had 9800 gx2's and I didn't like them to much heat and power usage was to high. Two 9800 gtx+'s out fold on gx2 and consume slightly less power. The 260gtx 55nm consumes a little more then a 9800gtx+ I suspect but folds loads faster.
The largest advantage of the 9800GX2s is GPU density.
It doesn't suck that much, but it isn't great. The main issue is poor scaling with SLI, as well as microstuttering. There are certainly much better gaming cards in the same price range, although right now the GX2s have the best PPD/$ ratio out of all the multi-GPU cards.tell me if I am correct ---
this card is great for folding and puts out lots of points per dollar ---
but it sucks ass for gaming?
