OBTW, those are some fan-freaking-tastic looking cards and the boxen is clean even though there's a suspected HD screw AWOL :D

I had a friend that ran out of room in his case...... so he used velcro to stick it to the inside of the case:p

lol you should of seen one of my older cases.. i had hdd's hanging from every place possible.. i drilled through the bottom of the case to hold 6 hdd's.. heck on the top of the case it had the tension bars to hold the case together on each sideand hold the psu.. so took a piece of sheet metal and put it across them.. screwed that in.. then drilled the holes there put another 4 hdd's on that.. then i kinda went a little bit nuts.. found some of these external hdd cages that you could use to run raid and had the built in power source for all of them.. ended up hanging 2 of those from the bars.. so in the end the case held 20 something hdd's.. and 2 power supplies.. along with 1 raid card and 2 sata add-on cards.. and was still able to fit the my m2n-sli motherboard x2 6400+ w/ TT big typhoon VX heatsink and 7300GT but then i opted to just build 3 systems and spread the hdd's out.. poor case looked like frankenstein.. but it was fun as heck to build..
 
That Corsair 750 Watt powerful enough for all 3 cards?
600 Watts in GPUs, plus cpu, mem, drives maybe 675 watts....
I heard good things about corsair psu and I am not sure what kind
of power curve they have but you might not be operating in the
high efficiency range. But hey we fold with what we got.

It's pulling 720 from the wall.

So it is running at about 80%

I have been considering an upgrade...... just not sure what, and need to find a good deal.

It was running at 650 watt from the wall, but that was before the new WU.

I read on the PSU forum that the Corsair manufacturer is the same as for PCP&C. If so, I think there shouldn't be too much concern.

Maybe I'll get lucky and it will blow up and start a fire while we are gone for the holidays.

Then when we are rebuilding we can add the master suite we have been wanting :p Purchased home for 84,500. They made us insure it to 145,000. That buys a lot of house where we are.

I just need to save the wedding photos in the computer that is in the neighbors house :D

Actually, the 750W PCP&P PSU is made by Seasonic whereas the TX750 is made by CWT. Both are about equally good PSUs though.

Thanks for the information and I'm quite surprised they are the same as PCP&C. I had a 600W Seasonic S-12 fail recently, and have read quite a few users on other forums complain about the S12 series failing prematurely. I doubt I'd purchase another Seasonic. I'm impressed with what I've read about Corsair and might pick one up next time I need a PSU. :cool:
 
the majority of PCP&C's high end psu's are made by seasonic.. the S12 series was probably the worst psu's they released.. but they are a damn reliable company..
 
Well the thing has been running 24/7 with out me touching the thing for 2 months now. The PSU has to be doing a good job or something would have crashed.

Seasonic are one of the most consistently good PSU manufacturers out there. I don't know about issues with the S12 line, but every single Seasonic PSU I've had has been excellent, and Corsair's HX520 and HX620, which are generally considered to be the best quality of all their PSUs, are manufactured by Seasonic.

Possibly, I just have experience with one unit and only relating my experience. As sirmonkey1985 mentioned, it may only be the S12 line since I noticed a few complaints in the past.
 
So easy question. WHERE are you getting your eVGA 9800GX2's? NewEgg doesn't have them anymore and I wanted to pick up a couple of these.
 
FS forum is a good place. Just keep your eyes opend.

Also a WTB thread wont hurt.
