So i did a little research and just purchased two 9800GTX+ and am very happy with the result of one card's performance over my 8800GTS that i had. The problem is that when I turn on SLI everything seems to be fine until I load up ANY game. Whether it be BFBC2 or COD4 or CODMW2, the result is the same. Everything is red and flashing. I can still see the game but there is like a red layer over everything that flashes a little bit.

After a little troubleshooting I have landed here. So here is what i have tried:
  • Swapped slots on motherboard
  • Upgraded BIOS
  • Set BIOS to default
  • Tried driver version 197.13 and 197.45
  • Checked all cable conenctions
  • So i come to you for help! Please let me know what you think!

System Specs:
Processor: Intel Q6600 B3 2.4GHz Quad Core
Motherboard: eVGA 780I SLI FTW
RAM: 4GB OCZ Platinum DDR2-800
Cooling: Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultima Liquid Cooling Kit
Video Card: 2x eVGA 9800GTX+
Power Supply: Corsair 750W
HDD: 2x 80GB WD SATA RAID-0 and 1x 1TB WD SATA
Case: Antec 1200

Run a single card and try loading up your games again. Try again with the second card and let us know what happens.

I had the same problem when my 9800gx2 went bad. Was fine with SLI disabled, everything was red with SLI. I assumed one of the GPUs went bad in my case so one of your cards might be bad in your case. Try only using one at a time and swapping them to see which one is defective.
