:mad: Hi, i was wondring if anyone had and suggestions on a problem im having. I was trying to update catalyst and it gave me this error message "try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup" and when trying to force it through windows to take a driver...it gives me a messge sayin Cannot Install this Hardware" and "file not found"...any help would be appriciated...thx

1. download a program called DriverCleaner
2. go to your add/remove programs thing and uninstall all ATI stuff
3. reboot, hit cancel while it's trying to redetect the vid card
4. run drivercleaner and do all of the ATI uninstalls
5. reinstall drivers

/edit: While you are at it, you may want to consider installing W1zzard's hacked drivers that may allow you to run your 9800SE as a 9800 pro.
