Ok, i have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro,
I had heard that i can flash the bois in this card
Release the other pipelines
Making the card a lot better
Can i? And if so.
How do i do so?
 
The max number of pipelines that a 9800 Pro is capable is eight. You can't flash it to have more pipelines.

Perhaps you're thinking about flashing the Pro with a 9800XT BIOS to increase your GPU core and RAM speed, is that right?
 
You can not release anymore piplines on the 9800 Pro, and there is very little reason for even flashing the card to an 9800 XT BIOS, since the 9800 XT is hardly (maybe 3% faster) than a Pro very. If you want to increase performance the you can overclock the core and memory at your own risk.

If you flash to XT you can get some better shader functions and gain thermal readings. The difference on my card between pro and xt bios running the same frequenices 412/365 was around 300 points in 3dmark 03. So there is a difference albeit a small one. I flashed just so my card is auto o/c and don't have to run a utility to do it.
