Guys, I need an opinion on whether this will work. I purchased a HIS 9800 Pro with a built in Arctic Cooler. It currently occupies two slots in my computer. I am building a game machine for lan parties it is a Shuttle SK83G which has the AGP slot on the outside. I have ordered a Vantec Iceberg to replace the Arctic Cooler, do you think it will provide enough cooling for the card in the shuttle case. The Shuttle has a 240W Power supply.

Thanks,

Novensu

I used to have one on my old 9800pro, definately good enough to keep it cool at stock clocks. It is a tad loud though (IMO), it has a high pitch whine. Its an upgrade to the stock cooler, and I've seen plenty of people with stock 9800pros in Shuttles, so you should be fine ;)

In a shuttle you can connect it to a fan header and use Speedfan to run it at 1%. That will keep the card plenty cool and you won't hear it at all.
