9800 pro upgrade

i have an aiw 9800 pro and have been offered $200 for it, so i wondering should i keep it and upgrade or stick with it. If i should upgrade what card should i be looking at, i don't really want to spend more than $250. P.S. should be PCI Express
 
Definitely. Thsoe cards new typically go for around $100 these days. I'd look into getting a 6800GT if I were you. Gives you the option for newer technologies SM3.0 and such for future games. Might be hard to find one in that price range, but I'd still try.
 
i think ill go with a 6800 gt, but there seem to be a lot of knockoffs floating around can anyone point me in the right direction with a link from the egg

BFG and PNY have some really nice warranty's they offer recently. Other manufacturer's that I've had good experiences with are ASUS, Leadtek, and Gigbyte.
 
nah selling my ic7-g and processor to switch to amd with pci-express

and what about msi
 
MSI is ok but I would stick with BFG personally since they have lifetime warranties
 
If price isn't your main concern I can third BFG tech. My geforce 4's fan fell off and their rma was a breeze.
