I am totally noob to o/c-ing a video card, is it possible to clock it to the xt speed or even more? what kind of precautions do i have to take?

=)

I have my 9800Pro flashed to an XT at speeds of 460/370

my memory might suck, but with the VGA silencer on the core, I overclocked that sucker quite a bit, duncha think? :)

I might note that its one of those new sapphires that are on the XT PCB so I have the thermal monitoring and such

you just need to get a good card thats capable. Just make sure its not an r360 core 9800pro, and you'll be allright.

thanks guys

reading the thing about the 256mb pro being the 128mb xt... do i have to get a 256pro?
