yeah, if you're looking to save money, check the FS/FT forums here. 9600xt's usually run $125ish, and the 9800pros around $200ish.

a 9800pro is a lot faster than the 9600xt also...and IMO, worth the extra money. When I got my 9600xt, I paid $140 shipped for it brand new and the 9800pros were still around $275-$300...so for me at that time, the price jump wasn't worth it. now the prices have come down and you'd be silly to get the 9600xt when you could spend $40 more for about twice the performance.

:edit: noticed the Canada location....you know anyone in the states that would buy and ship to you?? Dang...you guys get reamed on the prices!
 
I just went from an BBA 9600XT to a 9800Pro and it's definately a lot better performance wise.
 
id say the Pro but the 6600GT AGP is right around the corner :D

Anyway, our canadian dollar is strong now, check out the FS/T forums and you can save yourself some money buying second hand from the states.

You could gt a 9800Pro for ~$225CDN if you look hard enough.

What about border/brokerage fees? Usually when I get a good deal from the US I get screwed with extra fees which makes it even more expensive..

the 9800pro is worth the extra money now. if you don't want to spend ~270$ canadian try to find a used one.

Thats the couriers fault dumbass, not NCIX's.

And actaully, a lot of couriers do that on purpose when no one is home to answer the door.

Get them to ship USPS. Fedex and especially UPS always tacks on huge brokerage fees that are sometimes even more than the object is worth. Ridiculous. USPS is awesome, reliabile service. If it's used, there's no wrong in saying it's worth $20 and a gift. That will save you in the taxes aswell.
 
I picked up a 256 meg 9800 pro from the forums for $160 Shipped two days ago.. Just keep your eye out. I would recommend them hands down.

Dude...I have a 9800XT 256 I will sell ya for $250 shipped. Will smoke all of those cards. ;)
