9800 pro Fastwrites off?

try benchmarking with it on, then with it off. whichever gives you better scores and image quality, that is the one you should go with.
 
I currently have fastwrites on, 8X set in bios, I also have AGP speed set to 80Mhz (so my PCI bus is 40Mhz) and I use WPCREDIT to set Sideband addressing on as well...offset 49, set to "03"hex. Works like a charm.
